Self ownership/autonomy

Individual autonomy is key to libertarianism, but it does not conflict with Christianity. To be sure, self ownership in libertarianism is a political philosophy. (It tells us nothing of theology) We should be free to choose how we'll act (as long as we don't use force against others or their property) while being responsible for the consequences of these actions. But, this principle is also fundamental in Christianity. 'Reaping what you sow' is a common theme in throughout the Bible. (i.e. 2 Cor 5:9-10 & 2 Cor 9:6) Also, the idea of "submitting" to God/spouse/others (Eph 5:21) inherently implies we own ourselves. You cannot submit yourself if you don't first already own yourself. (I realize God ultimately owns his creation, but we are stewards of our bodies)
Finally, I've concluded that Anarchism is the only political philosophy 100% consistent with the concept of self-ownership. This simply means we don't have "rulers" on earth. My Ruler is Christ.
