Oooh boy, where do I begin?!
Let's get the obvious observations out of the way:
1) She's wearing a mask (of course she is)
2) She has a "Karen" haircut (of course she does)
3) She's a white lady (of course she is)
That aside, what's the point of her sign?! I was scratching my head all day thinking about what she's trying to prove. (Unfortunately, I had a family member share this on Facebook this morning 🙄) And yes, I really did take "all the time I need with this", but not for the reason she thinks!
I'm not a historian, so I don't know the exact skin color of everyone in the Bible. In fact, it was never something I even thought to consider because it's completely irrelevant. It seems to me that the general identification of "white" or "black" is a more recent phenomena. Someone pointed out that Miriam's (Moses' sister) skin became "white as snow" (Numbers 12:10). And others have said the Greeks or Romans were lighter skinned. I don't really know. To me, that's not important. But let's assume, for the sake of argument, that she's correct that no "white" people are in the Bible.
I'm not a leftist lunatic, so I had to really take some time to determine what I think she was actually trying to say. Here's the best I can come up with:
She's trying to deter Christians from reading/following the Bible because she thinks Christians are racists. And if these (white) racist Christians find out that the Bible is not full of "white people" they'll have an internal conflict that needs to be reconciled. Choose to obey the Bible (which was written by "people of color") or reject it entirely because non-white people make up this history.
Is that it? Is that her argument? That's the only thing I can think. I know that sounds too simplistic and really dumb, but I honestly think that's her point.
If I'm correct, it says more about HER than anything else. The left sees everything as a race issue. And I mean EVERYTHING. This meme rings true:

I believe most normal people who read her sign where confused as to what her point was. BECAUSE WE'RE NOT OBSESSED WITH RACE!
It should go without saying, but the Gospel is for ALL people, regardless of race, gender, nationality, etc. (Romans 3:39, Colossians 3:11) Never in my life have I dwelt on the color of Jesus' skin (or Paul or John or Matthew etc). And it's incredibly weird to me that people think that's important. If you're focused on that, you're missing important teachings from the Bible.
I'm sorry, I saw this on Twitter and had to share it:

Ok, maybe that's a bit mean.
One final thought. Perhaps they're referring to many modern paintings of Jesus with light skin. (as if anyone really thinks those are accurate painting or portraits of Jesus)
For what it's worth, someone used AI to approximate what Jesus looked like. This was the result:

Maybe this is somewhat realistic, or maybe not. Who knows. What's important is the message he came here to deliver.
