If you believe in the State, you are actually doubting the power of God. Remember, God is Spirit, not flesh. The material or visible world comes from what is invisible--this is the basic mystery of the Faith. So when you believe in the State, which is a visible moral authority, how can you also believe that moral authority comes from God?

It's the old proverb again: How can a man serve two masters?

You're going to respect one and despise the other--you have to make a choice. Naturally, human beings will always want to get the best out of life, so whatever they think is the most powerful mechanism to achieve what they think they need is exactly what they will rely on. Or in other words, wherever your treasure is, that's where your heart is going to be. This is just common sense. When you want ice you go to the freezer, right? Not the stove. When you want fresh air you go outside. Why? Because based on your experience and your expectations you expect to find ice in the freezer, and fresh air outside. That's why you go where you go, to get what you need. Why? Because you think that's where you can find it!

Okay, so now we see how simple and basic the fundamental point being made here is, let's come back to the current topic. God says "Do not steal". So how can I get these Christians to do what I want them to do, instead of living the right way? Simple. I just confuse them about who owns what. If they really believe in fighting for the just owner to remain in possession of his belongings, then all I have to do is trick them into thinking that I own someones ox or mule, and they will fight alongside me to help me get that ox or mule "back" from the "thief".

Please don't be so gullible! Christian people! Remember what Jesus said? We need to be harmless as doves, but wise as serpents. Just because they say that something is right or wrong, does not make it so. Just because they say that it's theirs doesn't make it theirs. You have to use your common sense. And guess what? If you decide that you're going to determine what to support and what to fight against based on your common sense, then you have just made the step into anarchism. The point of the State is that "they" tell you what to think. "We the people..." and so on...

Think about it.
